At Fleetville, we teach a broad and balanced curriculum. For each subject, we have mapped out the precise journey children take from their very first lesson to the moment they leave us.

• Long-Term Subject Maps: These outline the overarching topic areas taught across Key Stage 2, highlighting the breadth, depth, and variety of study your child will experience during their four years with us.

• Subject Profiles: These are individual subject guides that detail our vision, key learning concepts, teaching approaches, support strategies, and how we measure impact.

• Progression of Skills and Knowledge Overviews: These provide a more comprehensive overview of the specific content, skills, and knowledge taught in each subject. Where we follow established schemes of work, you will find full progression maps and lesson sequences. For subjects where we have designed our own tailored curriculum - such as History and Geography - we share sample unit plans.

Please note: To ensure high-quality delivery, teaching staff are supported by detailed medium-term plans for every unit. These underlying plans map out specific lesson sequences, key inquiry questions, core vocabulary, cross-curricular connections, and learning tasks.
